By accessing and using Lanabey's language tutoring and conversation coaching services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lanabey. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our services immediately.
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Users must attend scheduled sessions punctually and provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or inappropriate conduct during sessions will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
Users must respect intellectual property rights and refrain from recording, reproducing, or distributing any proprietary materials without explicit written consent. Payment obligations must be fulfilled according to the agreed schedule, and users are responsible for maintaining adequate internet connectivity for online sessions.
Lanabey provides language tutoring and conversation coaching services but does not guarantee specific learning outcomes or proficiency levels within predetermined timeframes. Our services are subject to tutor availability and may experience occasional scheduling constraints. We reserve the right to modify service offerings, pricing, and scheduling policies with reasonable notice.
Technical difficulties, including but not limited to internet connectivity issues, platform malfunctions, or equipment failures, may occasionally disrupt services. While we strive to minimize such occurrences, Lanabey cannot guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
All educational materials, curricula, methodologies, and proprietary content provided by Lanabey remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials solely for personal educational purposes during the duration of their enrollment.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. Users retain ownership of their personal work and assignments but grant Lanabey permission to use anonymized examples for educational and promotional purposes.
Lanabey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for services in the preceding twelve months.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Users acknowledge that language learning results vary based on individual effort, aptitude, and external factors beyond our control.
Lanabey is committed to protecting user privacy and personal information. We collect and process data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy. Personal information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and improvement purposes.
Session recordings, when applicable, are used exclusively for quality assurance and educational purposes. Users will be notified of any recording activities and may request deletion of their personal data subject to legal and operational requirements.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be achieved within thirty days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by a qualified arbitrator in accordance with established arbitration rules.
Users waive their right to participate in class action lawsuits and agree to resolve disputes individually. The arbitration decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Either party may terminate the service agreement with appropriate notice as specified in individual service contracts. Lanabey reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms or inappropriate conduct.
These terms may be modified periodically to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or business practices. Users will be notified of significant changes and continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms. Regular review of these terms is recommended to stay informed of any updates.
